Thank you very much for your interest in being a part of our Gloucester Township Day 2024 Celebration! We are looking forward to an action-packed day filled with fun, food, fireworks, entertainment, games, rides, displays, and crafts, complemented by the awarding of (40) scholarships to our local high school seniors. The Scholarship Committee raised $45,000.00 from yearly events such as a 5K Run, Murder Mystery, and of course, Gloucester Township Day. Below please find information that is important to our vendors:
Vendor applications are not considered on a first-come, first-served basis. A vendor’s seniority with Gloucester Township Day is the primary consideration when reviewing applications. Also considered will be what the vendor is doing or selling (we will allow duplicates and try to limit the repetition to two) and whether the applicant is a Township resident or business. Every effort will be made to accommodate all applications received by the deadline, of May 10, 2024.
Vendors must remain on the field the entire time. If you choose to be a part of our day, you cannot break down and leave before 10:00 PM. NO EXCEPTIONS!
Confirmation of payment and approved application will be sent to the email address you provide. SET-UP TIME will also be included in this email.
All vendors may bring a vehicle onto the field to unload their goods and set up. Vehicle permits are not required for this. Vehicle permits are required if you need to leave a vehicle on the field the entire day as part of your display or for storage. All vehicles must be off the field one hour prio to the start (11:00 AM).
Generators are permitted and vendors are typically grouped in the same area if you are using one.
All of the other Gloucester Township Day vendor policies that will be in effect:
All supplies are the responsibility of the vendor. We do not provide tables, chairs, tents, electricity, or individual night lighting.
Anyone using propane must have a permit from the Fire Marshall, Nicholas Giambri- Fire District #2 282-3370 ext. 119. The $54.00 fee is payable to the Fire District. Permit applications (attached) are also available at the Chews Landing Fire House on Somerdale Road or from our office. Also, all food vendors using an open flame must have an adequate extinguisher at their booth.
All food vendors must have County Board of Health approval, in writing. Call the Camden County Health Department at 374-6041 (Matthew Grochowski). A copy of this approval must be forwarded to me before May 10th. Also, a list/sign of prices of items being sold must be displayed at all times.
Both the Township Fire Marshall and County Health Inspector(s) will be on-site conducting inspections on June 1, 2024.
Alcoholic beverages are not permitted anywhere on park grounds.
Novelty vendors are prohibited from selling fake or real cigarettes, caps, toys resembling guns, water guns, shooters, swords, knives, fireworks, silly string, colored hair spray, fake/disappearing ink, confetti cans/poppers, slime, drug-mimicking items/hemp, stink bombs, etc. We reserve the right to prohibit sales of these and any other related items deemed hazardous.
No performances or other entertainment during the day unless scheduled at the Gazebo.
Applications will be reviewed up through May 10, 2024. Your vendor permit, parking permit, site plan, event schedule, and information sheet will be available for pick-up on Thursday, May 30th, at the Recreation Center between the hours of 12:00 PM and 5:00 PM. To expedite the check-in process, we encourage you to pick up and review your package before the event.
